Delaware Special Olympics offers several programs that benefit Ennis students. The Young Athletes program allows children ages 2 to 7 the opportunity to introduce them to several of the sports events while the Moror Activities Training Program (MATP) is designed to prepare athletes with severe or profound intellectual disabilities, including athletes with significant physical disabilities, for sport-specific activities appropriate for their abilities. Lastly is the regular program providing for athletes ages 8 and up the experience of competition in several sports with programs from other schools throughout the state.

A physical is required for participation in Delaware Special Olympics. This is a specific form that can be picked up at the school or downloaded and printed from the DSO website. Physicals are valid for three years.
